Brother inserted QR codes for each of two products in their ad that appeared in the Staples flyer. The code linked the mobile user to a site with a movie that explained in depth the features of their product. The analytics behind the code revealed to Brother that 3,939 individuals scanned the codes. They also knew which product’s code was scanned and the break between English and French, as well the location of the mobile user.
